Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Care facility in Dubuque, IA. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, manage chronic conditions, and support frail older adults in a dynamic, travel assignment.

The role requires LTC/SNF experience, ADN/BSN, and an Iowa or Compact RN license, with BLS. You will join an interdisciplinary team and coordinate care across shifts.

Qualifications

• LTC/SNF nursing experience required.
• Active RN license in Iowa or a Compact/NLC state.
• BLS certification required.
• BSN or ADN from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments and monitor residents for acute changes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy per orders and protocols.
• Provide routine wound care and skin integrity management, including pressure ulcer prevention.
• Document care and responses in the facility's EHR/EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to tailor care plans.
• Educate residents and families on disease management, medications, and safety.
