American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Emergency Department RN with 2+ years of pediatric ED experience and a BSN for a night shift assignment requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Responsibilities include working in the Pediatric Emergency Department of a children's hospital, night shifts (3×12 hours), and floating across ED sites including the Main ED and the Mental Health Crisis Center at Mathile. Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.

Qualifikationen

• Unrestricted Ohio or Compact RN license required.
• BSN required.
• CPR certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ED experience required.
• One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty.

Aufgaben

• Work in the Pediatric Emergency Department of a children's hospital.
• Night shift: 3×12‑hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Float across all ED sites, including Main ED and Mental Health Crisis Center at Mathile.
• May be assigned to South ED based on staffing needs.
• Rotate through the Mental Health Crisis Center as part of ED RN duties.
• Float to Specialty Pediatric Units (Med/Surg), PICU, NICU, or Transitional Care Unit when ED census is low.
• Deliver professional nursing care following ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient and family health outcomes.
• Promote a patient- and family-centered care experience.
• Adapt to rapidly changing census and patient needs as a change agent.
• Navy scrubs required, paired with navy or black scrub pants.
• Smoke-free facility and campus.
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate.
• Former permanent employees must wait at least 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment.
• Returning travelers must wait at least 1 year before reapplying.
