American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of ER experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

Emergency Room department in a 495-bed hospital facility
Mid-shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 3p-3a
Every other weekend and holiday required
On-call requirement of 1 8-hour call shift per 4-week schedule
No floating required
Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

Active VA RN license or Compact required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and NIHSS
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
2+ years of ER experience required
Epic EMR experience required
No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
US SSN required for consideration; Canadian SIN not accepted

Additional Information

Provide emergency department nursing care in a high-volume hospital setting
Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code
Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
13-week assignment with a preference for 13+ week commitments
