American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department in Michigan. This 12-hour night shift (3x12hrs), 36 hrs/week, 13-week assignment, with 1 opening.

Candidates need 2+ years ED experience, Cerner EMR proficiency, and active Michigan RN license. TNCC preferred. Must have own vehicle and supervisory reference. Starting October 5, 2026 with typical start within 3–4 weeks from offer.

Qualifications

2+ years Emergency Department experience required.
Active Michigan RN license at submission time.
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
TNCC certification preferred.
Must have own vehicle for the assignment.
Supervisory signed reference from within past two years.

Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care using critical thinking and independent judgment.
Direct and supervise the patient care team, including CNAs and LPNs.
Collaborate with team members across disciplines in patient care delivery.
Document patient care, condition and response to treatment promptly.
Adhere to scheduling and RTO requirements as outlined in profile.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Room position requiring 2+ years of ED experience, Cerner proficiency, and charge nurse experience.

Pay

Weekly Pay: $2,182/wk

Assignment Total (13 Weeks): $28,366

Annual Equivalent (52 Weeks): $113,464

Weekly Breakdown

Weekly Wages: $936/wk

Regular Hours: $26.00 x 36 hours/wk = $936

Weekly Stipends: $1,246/wk

Lodging: $110.00 x 7 days = $770

Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476

Work in an 11-bed Emergency Room department
12-hour night shift, flex 1pm-1:30am
Every other weekend required
Available for holiday coverage as needed
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active Michigan RN license required at time of submission
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
TNCC certification preferred
2+ years of Emergency Department experience required
Cerner EMR experience required
Must have own vehicle for the assignment

Skills checklist for Medical Surgical (pertinent to position) current within 1 year required

Additional Information

Collaborate with team members and other disciplines in patient care delivery
Document patient care, condition, and response to treatment in a timely manner
All scheduling and RTO requests must be finalized and included in the profile prior to submission; requests made after offer or at interview will not be approved
