American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced ED RN for a fast-paced Level 1/2 trauma ED in Colorado. TNCC and CPI certification are required. Qualified candidates must have CO license and 1 year ED experience.

Shifts are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, 13-week assignment with housing and travel reimbursements offered. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Formación

• Active CO or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of current Emergency Department RN experience.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card (ENPC accepted in lieu of PALS)
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• Trauma Level 1 or 2 experience preferred.
• Prior Meditech experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work in a 40-bed Emergency Department averaging 145 patients daily.
• Unit staffed with RNs, paramedics, EMTs, nurse externs, and unit secretaries across day, mid, and night shifts.
• Patient ratio of 4:1.
• Uses IV pumps, EKG machines, ultrasound machines, Belmont rapid infusers, Lifepack monitors, and GE transport monitors.
• Documents in Meditech EMR.
• 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM shift schedule.
• 13-week assignment.
• Perform rapid ESI triage assessments, comprehensive and focused reassessments, pain management, and sepsis and stroke screening and interventions.
• Respond to trauma Level 1 and 2 activations and mass casualty incidents.
• Administer blood products, assist with procedural sedation, and provide pediatric emergency and behavioral health crisis care.
• Perform vital sign monitoring, EKGs, defibrillation, IV insertion, blood and culture collection, medication administration, and wound care including suturing, stapling, and splinting.
• Best fit for experienced, motivated, team-oriented ER nurses.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, local candidates not accepted.
