Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Idaho. The role requires 5 years of ED experience and Trauma Level 3 exposure, with active RN license (ID or compact) and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC).

The ER handles adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and infants in a 16-bed facility. You will join a team dedicated to acute and trauma care, with Meditech EHR usage, night shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM hours, and must live more than 60 miles

Qualifications

• Active RN license (ID or compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 5 years of ED nursing experience required.
• RN degree required.
• Experience managing trauma, cardiac, stroke, head injury, and eye trauma cases.
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration.
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration.
• Copies of required certifications must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 16-bed Emergency Department at a Trauma Level 3 facility.
• Patient population includes adults, geriatrics, pediatrics, and infants.
• Common cases include trauma, cardiac events, stroke, head injury, eye trauma, abdominal pain, chest pain, and other acute complaints.
• Patient ratio of 14 patients.
• Night shift schedule with 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM hours.
• Every other weekend required.
• Uses Meditech EHR system.
• Standard emergency department equipment used.
• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad range of acute and trauma presentations.
• Strong patient-focused and team-oriented personality valued by the unit.
• Scrubs may be hospital-provided or candidate's own.
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months.
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment.
