Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN to join a combined Med Surg/ER unit at a CAH in North Dakota.

You will provide inpatient, observation, swing bed, and ER care on 12 beds, work 12-hour day/night shifts, and rotate every 3rd weekend and holidays. ND or Compact license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and CAH experience required; BSN not required; Epic charting and barcode scanning used.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (ND or Compact) required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• 2–3 years of Med Surg and/or ER experience preferred.
• CAH experience required.
• BSN not required.
• Must be able to work both ER and Med Surg.

Responsibilities

• CAH acute care setting combining Med Surg and ER units.
• Nurses work across both Med Surg and ER together.
• Care for hospitalized patients (inpatient, observation, and swing bed), outpatients receiving infusions or treatments, and ER patients.
• 12-bed inpatient capacity including 10 med/surg beds plus outpatient rooms.
• Uses Epic for charting and barcode medication scanning.
• Day/Night rotating 12-hour shifts.
• Every 3rd weekend and every other holiday required.
• Provide care across both Med Surg and ER patient populations.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• Must badge in and out at the facility.
• Holiday coverage required on a rotating basis.
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius at an adjusted bill rate.
• Previous Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
