Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Registered Nurse for a combined ER/Med Surg role in a Critical Access Hospital setting in Minnesota. Must hold MN RN license and have 2 years Med Surg experience; ER training is required with ability to cover both units.

Expect 12-hour night shifts with rotating days, every other weekend and holidays, plus care across EPIC charting and Omnicell. Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at an adjusted pay rate; navy blue scrubs required and

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS certification preferred.
• TNCC or CALS certification required for ED.
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience.
• ER training with ability to cover Med Surg and ER.
• Critical Access Hospital experience required.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and float.

Responsibilities

• Combined ER and Med Surg unit within a Critical Access Hospital.
• 14-bed unit management.
• 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730) with potential day shifts (0700-1930).
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation.
• Floating between Med Surg and ER departments.
• Possible on-call coverage and solo shifts depending on staffing.
• Use EPIC charting system and Omnicell automated dispensing.
• Provide full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, care planning, intervention, evaluation, documentation.
• Navy blue scrubs; badge-in/out at facility.
• Local candidates within 80 miles may be considered at adjusted pay rate.
• Candidates with Sanford Health employment must have end date at least 6 months prior.
