Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department on 12-hour night shifts, requiring an active NH or compact RN license and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP). Cerner EMR experience is required within the past year, with NURSYS license verification and leadership references.

Role includes potential travel to Concord and Franklin, and local candidates within 50 miles at local rate. RTO must be approved at consideration.

Qualifications

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of consideration.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP.
• Cerner EMR experience within the last 12 months.
• NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses required.
• Two recent Charge/Manager RN references from ED specialty.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital.
• Patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric, excluding OB cases.
• 12-hour night shift schedule (7p-7a).
• Position offered to provide holiday coverage.
• Uses Cerner EMR system.
• May be requested to float to Concord and Franklin locations.
• Candidates without pediatric experience may be considered if willing to learn and train.
• Provide emergency care across a wide patient population from newborn to geriatric.
• Weekly orientation provided.
• Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at local rate.
• Former permanent staff eligible to return as travelers after a 12-month break in service.
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration.
• Three references required once committed, with at least two from leadership.
