Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a night shift contract in Maine. The ideal candidate holds an active Maine or compact RN license and current BCLS certification, with ACLS and PALS to be completed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities include delivering patient-family centered care in the ED, using MedHost EMR, and supporting holiday coverage. Three 12-hour night shifts per week with varying schedules.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience preferred.

• Active RN license in the State of Maine or compact license, or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current BCLS required
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire date

• Strong assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
• Ability to function independently and act rapidly in emergency situations
