Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department role in Maryland. Active Maryland or Compact RN license and ER experience are required.

Night shifts are 19:00–07:30 (3x12s) with 36/48 hour options; every other weekend and holidays may be required. Candidates with travel nursing interest are welcome. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute diagnoses.
• Emergency Department setting with census ~130 and 47 beds.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:4 across all ages from infant to geriatric.
• Night shift 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30) with 36/48 hour options.
• Every other weekend and holidays coverage; floating within ED as needed.

• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Treats all age ranges from infant to geriatric
• Fast-paced ED environment with complex and varied diagnoses
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30), with 36/48 hour options
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Floating required within the specialty
• No pre-scheduled on-call requirements
• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of acute and complex diagnoses
• First-time travelers with strong ER skills and experience are welcome to apply
