American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for a night shift contract in Illinois. The ideal candidate will hold an IL license, be Epic EMR proficient, and demonstrate a strong emergency care background.

Requirements include active IL RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NIHSS, 2+ years ER experience (4+ preferred), and travel/per diem background. EKG tests will be administered on-site during orientation before placement.

Competenze

• Active IL RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience; 4+ years preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required and reflected in employment history.
• New graduates will not be considered.

Mansioni

• Emergency Room setting in a hospital environment.
• 8-week contract on night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00pm-7:00am.
• Requires 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
• Holiday coverage required as needed.
• No floating or on-call requirements.
• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have a 12-month break in service before being eligible as a traveler.
• RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 8-week contract.
• Facility will conduct a brief candidate interview prior to placement.

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required; 4+ years preferred
• Previous travel and/or per diem experience required
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• New graduates will not be considered
• Temporary licenses accepted if candidate has proof of application for permanent license
• Must pass a pre-submission EKG test with a score of 80% or higher
• Must pass an on-site EKG test during Day 1 orientation to continue the assignment
