American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment in Wisconsin. A valid WI or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ER experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active WI or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• TNCC or TNS certification required.
• Education verification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in ER at hospital/trauma center.
• Night shift schedule.
• May work at a second ER location within the city network.
• 13-week assignment.
• Uses nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team.
• Administers medications and treatments per approved nursing techniques and policies.
• Performs patient assessments, planning, and evaluation of care.
• Develops and executes individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and governance.
• Provides clinical guidance to support patients' longitudinal plans of care.
• Uses critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and experience.
• Participates in professional nursing continuum and peer review processes.
