Job summary

Abbott is seeking an RN Trainer to provide Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers. The role is per-diem and state/city specific, requiring travel to customer homes within a defined geographic area.

The trainer will set up appointments, demonstrate use of PT/INR equipment, document training records, and communicate securely about PHI. A valid RN license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• RN with clinical experience.
• Direct exposure to anticoagulation homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
• Travel to customers' home settings within the trainer's general geographic area.
• Demonstrate proper use and care of PT/INR equipment to the customer/caregiver.
• Explain test reporting options to customers.
• Present yourself professionally in communications and training.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
• Maintain communication with Acelis Connected Health via cell, email and internet.
