Job summary

Abbott is seeking a per-diem RN trainer to provide home-based training for Acelis Connected Health’s customers. The role involves travel, demonstrating PT/INR device use, and documenting training records with an emphasis on patient education and privacy.

The position requires current RN licensure, clinical experience, and willingness to travel; Florida has an extra background step. Base pay ranges by location, with a per-hour rate posted for Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• The Trainer must have clinical experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license required.
• Direct experience with anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
• Health education training experience is a definite plus.
• No lifting over 15 pounds required without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Remotely set up training appointment directly with the customer/caregiver.
• Travel to the customer's home setting within the general geographic location of the Trainer's home.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper use of PT/INR equipment.
• Explain test reporting options.
• Document and submit patient training records electronically.
