Job summary

Abbott is seeking an RN trainer for Acelis Connected Health to provide at-diem, home-based training across specified regions. You will remotely schedule sessions, travel to patient homes, and teach proper use of PT/INR equipment while ensuring secure handling of PHI.

A nursing license and clinical background are required, with travel of at least 100 miles as needed. This role emphasizes compassionate patient education, technical proficiency, and reliable transportation to support home testing

Qualifications

The Trainer must have clinical experience.
Current Registered Nurse.
Direct experience with anticoagulation/homecare preferred.
Health education training is a plus.
No lifting over 15 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

Remotely set up training appointments with customers/caregivers.
Travel to customers' home within general geographic area.
Demonstrate and instruct use and care of PT/ INR equipment.
Explain test reporting options.
Present professionally and communicate clearly.
Document and submit training records electronically.
Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email, and internet.
Use secure encrypted email for patient PHI communications.
Have reliable transportation.
