Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN with prior Cath Lab or IR experience for a hospital position that includes on-call responsibilities.

Open Positions: 2. Travel nursing opportunities. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Previous Cath Lab or IR experience required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required.

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab unit with 2 procedure labs and 5 patient bays.
• Staffed with 2 FT RNs and 5 FT RCIS technologists.
• Uses GE/MacLab equipment.
• Documentation performed in Meditech.
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with after-hours on-call required.
• Provides pre, intra, and post care for cardiac patients.
• Approximately 3 STEMI cases per month with minimal callback burden while on-call.
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of the dress code.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• First-time travelers are not addressed in this posting.
