Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is seeking a Cath Lab RN with IR experience for a day shift assignment in Bend, Oregon. The role includes on-call requirements and focuses on diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring in a busy cath lab.

The ideal candidate holds an active OR RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least 1 year of cath lab experience and IR proficiency. Travel-ready candidates are welcome, with housing and licensure reimbursements available.

Qualifications

• Active OR RN license (license types may be pending)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of cath lab experience
• IR experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a medical center
• Average daily census of 10 patients
• Performs diagnostic and interventional hemodynamic monitoring
• Performs neuro-intervention, vascular, and structured heart exams
• Performs hemodynamic monitoring using cath lab specific equipment
• Performs conscious sedation on adult patients per facility policy
• Performs diagnostic hemodynamic monitoring and other non-invasive diagnostic procedures to assess the cardiovascular system
• Assists in recovery of cath lab patients in SSU or PACU as needed
• Uses Philips imaging systems and Abbott Claris equipment
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required 1-2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 4 weeks
• No floating required outside of scope
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside outside a 75 mile radius of the facility to be considered, proof of address required
• RTO requests limited to 7 days and must be submitted with initial application
