Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a day-shift hospital position requiring strong cardiac and cath lab experience along with weekend and call coverage. The role is based in Port Huron, MI with a 7:00 AM-3:30 PM day schedule and 40-hour guarantee.

Active MI RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications are required, with preference for travel nursing experience. MediTech EMR experience is a plus, and local travelers within 35 miles receive a 10% rate reduction.

Qualifications

• Compact license not accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong cardiac experience and proficiency required
• Cath lab experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• MediTech EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Hospital setting with 36 private treatment rooms
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 5 days/week with 40-hour guarantee
• Open to 4x10 schedules
• Requires one weekend per month and call coverage
• Floating to other units required
• Uses MediTech EMR
• Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice following hospital policies and nursing standards of care
• Clinical Nurse Specialists provide advanced nursing support to staff
• Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs
• Ongoing education offered in BLS, ACLS, wound care, and pain management
• Navy blue scrub dress code
• COVID vaccine not required
• Local travelers defined as those within a 35 mile radius of the facility and receive a 10% rate reduction
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested
