Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cath Lab RN with 2+ years of IR and Cath Lab/EP/Structural Heart/PV/Vascular experience for a day-shift contract requiring IL licensure.

The position requires an active IL RN license, IL IEMA certification, and current BLS/ACLS. The role includes 10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30), on-call rotations, and Epic EMR usage in a radiology Cath Lab setting. Traveling candidates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• IL IEMA certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart preferred; American Red Cross accepted for BLS).
• Minimum 2 years of IR experience required.
• Cath Lab, EP, Structural Heart, PV, or Vascular experience required.
• Structural Heart experience highly preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history.
• New graduates will not be considered.
• Two current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year required.
• A travel reference is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Radiology department Cath Lab setting.
• 10-hour day shifts from 07:00-17:30.
• Floating required on an as-needed basis.
• Weekend call rotation required.
• Holiday call rotation required.
• On-call requirement of 7-8 days per month with a 45-minute maximum callback response time.
• Uses Epic EMR.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from employment for 12 months before being considered as a traveler.
• RTO maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts.
