Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced Case Management RN for a Level II Trauma Center in Washington. This travel nurse role requires Epic proficiency and prior travel experience, with a 13-week assignment and 7:30 AM–4:00 PM shifts.

Requirements include an active WA or compact RN license, BLS, 1 year of acute care RN experience, and two supervisory references. Local candidates are not accepted; a 50-mile radius rule applies.
Floating between Colby and Pacific campuses is required.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or compact license in hand at submission.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Discharge planning and care coordination experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• AIDA EMR experience preferred.
• Diverse case management experience preferred (Med Surg, LLOS, ED).
• ICU and ED specialty experience preferred.
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Acute hospital Case Management/Utilization Review.
• 5x8 day shift 7:30 AM–4:00 PM.
• 13-week contract assignment.
• Work every other weekend.
• Patient ratio of 1:25–30.
• Commit to 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Floating required between Colby and Pacific campuses (<2 miles).
• Uses Epic charting system.
• Care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, DME ordering, and plan of care development in CMS-regulated environment.
• Level II Trauma Center across two campuses with 571 beds.
• Parking is facility paid.
• First-time travelers not accepted.
• Local candidates not accepted; 50-mile radius eligibility.
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after 3-month waiting period (live outside 50-mile radius).
• All RTO requests must be submitted at application.
