Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced CVICU RN for night shift duties in Oregon. The role focuses on cardiovascular critical care, telemetry, and complex post-surgical patients.

You will work 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:30) and may float to related units as needed within the facility or nearby facilities. Required: active RN license (Oregon license not required at submission), Oregon CNA in hand, BLS/ACLS, 2+ years CVICU experience, telemetry, travel nursing background, and Epic EMR

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oregon license not required at time of submission; pending licensure accepted)
• Active Oregon CNA license in hand (pending not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CCRN certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Skills include IV therapy, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line and PICC line care, chest tube assistance, BiPAP/CPAP and ventilator management, ABGs interpretation
• Experience with shock program management preferred

Responsibilities

• Blended cardiovascular care unit with 18 CVICU beds and 12 CVIMCU beds
• Cares for adult patients with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, CT surgery, IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post-PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, and STEMI/NSTEMI
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Floating required within the facility or to nearby affiliated facilities, with priority floating to a hospital approximately 15 minutes away
• Epic charting experience required
• Provide specialty cardiovascular critical care to a diverse patient population including surgical cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients
• Unit recognized as a Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital and AACN Silver Beacon Award recipient
• Robust training program available covering IABP, CRRT, targeted temperature management, and VAD care
• Multidisciplinary team environment with focus on mentoring and advanced certification support
• Former employees of the health system are not eligible for assignments until six months after their termination date
• Block scheduling is not accommodated
