Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU position in Little Rock, AR. The role requires AR or Compact RN licensure and strong cardiac device experience.

Responsibilities include providing critical care in a CVICU with 12-hour nights (7p-7a) and a guaranteed weekly schedule, using Cerner EMR. Must meet licensure and certification requirements and obtain two professional references.

Qualifications

• Active AR RN license or Compact RN license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon pump and VAD required.
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration.
• Two professional references: one supervisor (within 12 months) and one peer/supervisor (within 3 years) with dates and rehire eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in CVICU with CV-focused caseload.
• 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) with every-other-weekend rotation.
• Manage high-acuity cardiovascular patients; Cerner EMR usage.
• Ensure compliance with licensure and reference requirements.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Busy, fast-paced CV service line with the highest acuity in the area
• Patient population includes all cardiovascular cases except transplants
• Uses Cerner EMR
• 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) on an every-other-weekend (EOW) rotation
• Scheduled for 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Provide critical care nursing to high-acuity cardiovascular ICU patients
• Candidates who were directly employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year are not eligible
• Candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered
