American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Cardiac Telemetry RN for a night shift position in California. Candidates must hold an active CA RN license and have 2+ years of recent experience.

The role requires BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications and prior travel nursing experience, with 1:3 patient ratios, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) and Epic EMR proficiency. You will provide cardiac telemetry care, manage pacemakers and post-catheterization patients, with weekend coverage and facility approval for

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management skills required.
• Experience with cardiac drip management required.
• Experience with sheath removal and TR Band required.
• Minimum one year of acute care experience required.
• Minimum one year of specialty experience within the past two years required.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30, Sunday-Saturday coverage
• Patient ratio of 1:3
• Epic EMR experience required
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required
• Provide cardiac telemetry nursing care including monitoring for dysrhythmias and use of rapid response/code teams
• Manage patients with pacemakers, post cardiac catheterization, and TAVR procedures
• No first-time travelers considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted
• Previous UC Irvine or UCSD employees must disclose this at time of consideration and receive facility approval prior to assignment
• RTO must be finalized prior to consideration and cannot be changed afterward
• At least one supervisory or manager reference from within the last year required from the specific unit
