American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position in Morgantown, WV. Requires prior dialysis experience and active WV or Compact RN license, with every Saturday coverage and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Hospital unit features 10 chairs/beds and a team of 6-7 nurses, plus AKI and ESRD MDs; orientation provided and travel perks included.

Qualifications

• Active WV or Compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.
• Dialysis experience required.
• Epic EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post-acute dialysis unit with 10 chairs/beds.
• Team includes 6-7 nurses, 1 AKI MD, and 1 ESRD MD.
• Approximately 20 patients treated per day.
• Patient population includes ESRD and AKI diagnoses.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments for the unit's patients.
• Monday-Saturday dayshift with every Saturday coverage required.
• Flexible 8- or 12-hour shifts to meet 36 hours per week.
• No on-call or standby requirements.
• First to float when needed.
• Seasonal holiday coverage rotated among staff.

• Post-acute dialysis unit with 10 chairs/beds
• Team includes 6-7 nurses, 1 AKI MD, and 1 ESRD MD
• Approximately 20 patients treated per day
• Patient population includes End-Stage Renal Disease and Acute Kidney Injury diagnoses
• Perform hemodialysis treatments for the unit's patient population
• Monday-Saturday dayshift schedule with every Saturday coverage required
• Flexible combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet 36 hours per week
• No on-call or standby requirements
• First to float when needed
• No Medical Assistants or CNAs utilized on this unit
• Holiday coverage required and rotated among staff for Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day
• Unit is closed on winter holidays observed
• Royal blue and white scrubs required
• 3 shifts of orientation provided
• Cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per 13-week assignment (1 shift for shorter assignments)
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel rate
• Travelers who previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work within WVU for longer than a year before taking a required 2-year break, with cumulative experience applied
