Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Acute Dialysis and Pheresis position in Kentucky. Requires a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification. Assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, first shift 6:30a–4p, with weekly evening call and additional call every fifth week.

ACLS certification and annual Dysrhythmia competency validation are required. ADN/ASN is required, BSN preferred. This travel assignment offers comprehensive pay and stipends.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required.
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred.
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care through nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, and coordination of admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
• Deliver patient and family-centered education and individualized treatment planning.
• Collaborate with inter-professional care team and delegate tasks appropriately to other team members.
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures such as patient satisfaction, falls, and documentation audits.
• Facilitate discharge planning in coordination with Case Management.
