Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, OH. A 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift offers opportunities to work in a fast-paced cardiac telemetry unit.

The ideal candidate will have one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a passion for patient-centered cardiac care. Travel benefits and comprehensive support are included.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) currently active.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) currently active.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per nursing care plan.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and monitoring for telemetry patients.
• Document patient status and respond to changes in cardiac condition.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
