Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 16-week assignment in Columbus, OH. The role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour nights, and focuses on caring for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and cardiac rhythms.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education focusing on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Collaborates with the care team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
