Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN (PCU) for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH. You’ll provide care to patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg, with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week, under the guidance of a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in Ohio or applicable state.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred PCCN Certification or NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Monitors cardiac rhythms and vital signs, interprets telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and assessments and communicates changes to the team.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for comprehensive telemetry care.
