Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Columbus, OH. The PCU RN will monitor cardiac patients, titrate medications, and respond to changes in patient condition while coordinating with the care team.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience, ACLS/BLS certifications, and is able to perform complex tasks in a fast-paced travel setting. We offer 36 hours weekly on 12-hour night shifts and a competitive travel package.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 2 years of acute care RN experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care; stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust equipment; interpret and record displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring data indicates issues.
