Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists for its FirstChoice mobile staffing program. You’ll be deployed across MercyOne Clinton Medical Center and other sites, floating to meet staffing needs with premium pay and flexible scheduling.

Role emphasizes independence, adherence to AARC guidelines, and collaboration with care teams. Local travel and per diem opportunities are available, with daily pay options. This position starts ASAP with 3x12 schedules and a 12-hour day shift.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner - Accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Follow and apply elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.
• Delegate, decide, and own outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement initiatives.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist

Pay Range: $32.22-$35.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $60 per hour for local

Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
