Job summary

MercyOne seeks an experienced Respiratory Therapist for FirstChoice staffing assignments at MercyOne Genesis DeWitt Medical Center in Iowa. This travel role offers 12-hour day shifts with 3x12 hours, premium pay, and flexible scheduling in a dynamic hospital setting.

You will float across hospital locations as needed, adhere to AARC standards, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential .
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working .
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay Range: $32.22-$35.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $60 per hour for local
Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
