Job summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking experienced Respiratory Therapists to fill mobile staffing assignments across the health system. This role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for travel and per diem.

Openings include regional and nationwide placements with a focus on quality patient care, license reimbursement, and potential 403B participation. Expect 3x12 shifts and immediate start dates.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduate of a two-year Advanced Practitioner Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal and communication skills with patients, physicians and staff.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.

Position Purpose:

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates & demonstrates standard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborates with key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities
• Embraces new ideas & cultural differences while managing competing priorities

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and other health personnel and department management during all situations and in line with our mission and values.
• Analytical skills necessary to identify patient’s needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Pay Range:

$32.22-$35.00 per hour + Tax Free Allowance if Qualified or $60 per hour for local

Actual compensation offered will be within the range stated above but vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, and certification requirements, as well as comparisons to current colleagues in similar roles.
