American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift at a 205-bed Level II trauma center in Idaho. Requires 1+ year experience and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications. The candidate should be skilled in adult/pediatric care and airway management, with proficiency in ABG interpretation and EKG.

Responsibilities span Medical, Surgical, Rehab, PCU, ICU and limited pediatrics with a 3x12 night schedule. Epic charting experience is preferred; olive green scrubs are required.

Qualifications

• Active RRT license and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• Minimum 1 year of RT experience required.
• Epic charting experience preferred, trauma center experience a plus.
• Strong skills in adult and pediatric respiratory care, airway management, and ABG/EKG interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across Medical, Surgical, Rehab, PCU, ICU and limited pediatrics.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15).
• Be part of a respiratory therapy team of 4–6 RTs per shift.
• Use Epic charting system for documentation.
• Maintain Olive green scrubs as part of uniform policy.

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift position at a 205-bed trauma center requiring 1+ years of experience and ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Requirements

• Active RRT license required if applicable
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skilled in adult and pediatric respiratory care including intubation assist, extubation, and airway suctioning
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Proficient in ABG interpretation and basic EKG
• Experience with aerosol setup, nebulizer therapy, and metered dose inhalers
• Tracheostomy care and management experience

Responsibilities

• 205-bed hospital with Level II trauma center designation
• 20-bed ICU with limited pediatric floor
• Services Medical, Surgical, Rehab, Progressive Care Unit, ICU, and limited pediatrics
• 4-6 RTs on staff every shift
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Epic charting system required
• Provide respiratory care across Medical, Surgical, Rehab, PCU, ICU, and limited pediatric units
• Work as part of a respiratory therapy team of 4-6 RTs per shift
• Olive green scrub color required
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO during the first week of orientation
