Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington. Active WA licensure and an RRT certification are required, with 1–2 years of experience in respiratory care.

The position features 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00–07:00) on a 13-week assignment with block scheduling, and involves floating between units, ER coverage, and rapid response duties. Epic charting is used for documentation and travel perks apply.

Qualifications

• Teaching hospital and Level I trauma experience preferred.
• Experience with aerosol therapy devices (MDI, neb).
• Ventilator management including BiPAP/CPAP; weaning preferred.
• Airway management including extubation and suctioning.
• ABG interpretation and oxygen therapy expertise.
• ED and Pediatric settings experience preferred.
• Trauma and rapid response experience preferred.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in last 3 years required.

• Washington state license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)

• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with medication delivery systems including aerosol setups, MDI, and nebulizers
• Experience with ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation preferred
• Experience with airway management including extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care
• Skilled in interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and oxygen therapy
• Experience in Emergency Department and Pediatric settings preferred
• Experience with trauma and rapid response situations preferred
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

• Returning staff who previously worked at the facility may return after a 3 month waiting period
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50 mile radius
• First-time travelers are not being considered for this position
