Job summary

Alex Lee, Inc. seeks a Store Technology Support Specialist to ensure operation and implementation of store hardware and software, especially POS systems. Travel is heavy (90%) and the role will focus on Augusta–Aiken area.

Responsibilities include installing hardware/software, training store teams, ensuring smooth openings of new stores, documenting systems, and assisting with network-related issues. On-call duties may be required outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and 2+ years of technology experience.

Responsibilities

• Install hardware and software and provide troubleshooting as needed.
• Provide training to store teams on new procedures.
• Ensure smooth opening of new Alex Lee stores regarding POS, front office operation, payment devices, and self-checkout.
• Continually improve front-end systems and document effective use.
• Proactive problem-solving and scheduling of remodels or special projects.
• Assist infrastructure team as field support for networking hardware and troubleshooting.
• On-call duties to provide application/hardware support during off hours as scheduled by supervisor.
• Coordinate with third-party break-fix providers to restore systems when necessary.
