United Vein Centers (UVVC) seeks a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) in New Jersey to greet patients, collect insurance information, provide forms, handle payments, and schedule visits. The role requires handling a fast-paced environment with attention to data accuracy and PHI security.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms and office policies.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Maintain hard copy patient records and EMR files.
• Audit schedule to ensure patient insurance eligibility.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Demonstrate UVVC Core Values in daily work.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of PHI per HIPAA and laws.
