Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead installation quality across multiple customer sites in the continental US. The role requires extensive travel (up to 100%), overseeing subcontractor quality, and ensuring equipment meets Dematic standards.

Candidates should have a minimum of ten years in electromechanical troubleshooting, OSHA 10, and a strong QA background. Expect a hands-on, field-based position with OT and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts with OT.
• PC usage, database functions and basic hardware/software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturer and subcontractor quality.
• Quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• On-site safety responsibilities including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure it meets specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
• Assist with training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic equipment.
• Write concise trip reports within Dematic timelines.
• Identify problems and suggest practical solutions.
• Must be able to travel on short notice and spend up to 100% traveling.
• Be prepared to be on call and travel as needed.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat, and walk on large construction sites.
