Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead on-site installation quality across customer projects. The role requires extensive travel to customer locations and overseeing safety, QA, and contractor coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in electromechanical troubleshooting, experience with AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors, and OSHA 10 certification. A heavy lifting capability and flexibility for weekends/holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance desirable.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions for discrepancies.
• Oversee on-site safety, including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trials to meet specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager or customer.
• Assist training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Write concise trip reports within required timelines.
• Identify problems and propose actionable solutions when problems are not complex.
• Travel on short notice up to 100% and be on call as needed.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat, and walk on large construction sites in variable conditions.
