Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead installation quality on customer projects across the continental United States. The role requires extensive electromechanical troubleshooting experience and on-site leadership to ensure Dematic standards are met and safety protocols are observed.

Travel to customer locations will be up to 100%, with OT as needed. The base pay range is competitive, and opportunities for career development and global exposure are highlighted by the company.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays and accept OT compensation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Quality checklists and submission of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• On-site safety oversight, including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure specifications are met and Dematic standards are installed.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and customer.
• Assist with training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of equipment.
• Write concise trip reports within Dematic procedures.
