Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee on-site installation quality, safety, and commissioning across customer projects. The role requires up to 100% travel to customer locations and coordination with project teams.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, OSHA 10, and QA/safety experience. Lifting up to 50 lbs and weekend/off-shift work may be required. Dematic offers career development and benefits.

Qualifications

Ten years minimum experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
Experience with quality assurance and on-site safety audits.

Responsibilities

Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
Quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
On-site safety oversight, including safety audits.
Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure specifications and Dematic standards.
Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to the project manager and/or customer.
Assist with training of contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic equipment.
Write concise trip reports within required timeframes.
Identify problems and suggest steps to tackle them.
Must be able to travel up to 100% and be on call as needed.
Push, pull, crawl, squat, and walk around large construction sites.
