Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to lead installation quality on client sites across the continental USA. The role requires traveling up to 100% and coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure Dematic standards.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is helpful.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts with OT.
• Proficiency with personal computers, databases, and communications.
• Understanding PC hardware and software configuration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies arise.
• Oversee on-site safety, including safety audits.
• Assist with equipment trial runs to verify specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project managers/customers.
• Assist with training contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic equipment.
• Write clear trip reports within required Dematic timelines.
• Identify problems promptly and suggest practical solutions.
