Job summary

Arcare is seeking an IT Field Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and network services. You will install and configure systems, support end-users, and assist the IT Senior Field Technician to maintain reliable technology operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 6–12 months of related experience, and strong communication skills. This full-time role offers a stable schedule and growth opportunities within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Six to twelve months of related experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations to resolve problems.
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
