Job summary

The Field Technician at Courser will install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations, performing diagnostics and on-site maintenance. You will communicate clearly with clients, train users when needed, and ensure installations meet company standards.

Ideal candidates have hands-on technical skills, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year in a field technician role. Travel and safety compliance are essential parts of the job.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a field technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with equipment relevant to the industry (telecommunications, HVAC, electrical).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test network and hardware equipment at customer sites according to company guidelines and specifications.
• Ensure proper functioning of equipment post-installation and provide initial training to users if necessary.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule installation and resolve any access or technical setup issues.
• Diagnose technical issues in the field, using testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve problems.
• Perform repairs and adjust equipment as needed, ensuring operational efficiency.
