Job summary

NCG Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Task Force General Manager to lead operations across a growing portfolio of hotels. This travel-intensive role requires delivering excellence at multiple properties, guiding transitions, openings, acquisitions, and distressed assets with hands-on leadership.

You’ll recruit and develop teams, manage budgets, forecast performance, and uphold brand standards while traveling 80–90% of the time across the United States. A strong guest-focus is essential.

Qualifications

• A college degree or equivalent hospitality leadership experience.
• Five or more years of hotel experience, including at least three years in a management role.
• Strong operational knowledge across hotel departments, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, revenue management, and F&B.
• Proven leadership with ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Guest-focused leadership style and ability to adapt to change.
• Willingness to travel 80-90% and valid driver's license.
• Brand experience with Hilton, Marriott, and Hyatt.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership during management transitions, new openings, acquisitions, distressed properties, and special projects.
• Oversee daily hotel operations and provide General Manager-level leadership across all departments.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop hotel team members and leaders.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging culture while driving team satisfaction and retention.
• Lead in delivering exceptional guest service and memorable guest experiences.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and sales initiatives to drive financial performance.
• Analyze financial results, identify performance gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, safety, and procedures.
• Conduct property inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards.
• Partner with Regional VPs and property leadership to execute initiatives.
