Job summary

NCG Hospitality is seeking a Task Force General Manager to provide leadership across multiple properties. This field-based role requires frequent travel (80-90%), with work onsite at hotels across the portfolio.

A home base is allowed anywhere in the United States. You will guide operations during transitions, openings, acquisitions, and distressed properties, oversee daily hotel operations, recruit and develop teams, and ensure guest satisfaction while achieving financial performance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hotel experience, including at least three years in a management role.
• Strong operational knowledge across hotel departments including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, sales, revenue management, and food & beverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and operational support during transitions, new openings, acquisitions, distressed properties, and special projects.
• Oversee daily hotel operations and provide General Manager-level leadership across all departments.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and developing hotel team members and leaders.
• Foster an inclusive, engaging culture while driving team member satisfaction and retention.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, revenue management, and sales initiatives to drive financial performance.
• Analyze financial results, identify performance gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Conduct property inspections and quality audits to maintain high standards.
