Job summary

RbM Services in the United States is seeking an electrical technology professional to join our field service team. You will travel 50% across the continental U.S. to install, test, and repair medical devices, while maintaining detailed service records and datasheets.

You’ll work with customer sites, follow safety procedures, and leverage on-the-job training to enhance device performance and reliability. Strong troubleshooting and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical engineering technology with coursework in digital and analog circuits.
• Ability to troubleshoot using schematics, DVM, and oscilloscope.
• Mechanical skills in assembly/disassembly and soldering techniques.
• Team player with strong written and verbal communication.
• Capable of obtaining a credit card and possessing a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and repair medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Travel up to 50% across the continental United States for on-site service.
• Maintain accurate service and expense reports and datasheets.
• Interact professionally with customers during on-site visits and calls.
• Familiarize yourself with quality manuals, safety procedures, and manufacturing regulations.
• Troubleshoot device performance issues and resolve malfunctions promptly.
