Job summary

Werfen in Tampa Bay, Florida is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and maintain complex diagnostic instruments across North America. You will build strong customer relationships and ensure high service delivery while meeting performance targets.

The role requires an Associate degree in electronics/medical tech or related training and at least 3 years in a technical support role; travel up to 90%; valid driver's license; and proficiency with Windows, Lab Information Systems, and

Associates degree in Electronics, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering or related training.
Minimum of 3 years in a technical/support role.
Comfort with Windows, Lab Information Systems, and MS Office 365; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Provides on-site installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and product enhancements on Werfen instruments.
Diagnoses, analyzes, troubleshoots, and isolates instrument issues to determine failures and corrective actions.
Escalates unresolved technical issues and communicates with customers professionally.
Performs service activities with accurate documentation and reporting.
Travels up to 90% to cover territory; valid driver's license required.
