Job summary

Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to help customers implement and adapt the latest communications and signal processing technologies. This role blends technical acumen with customer service, both in-house and at customer facilities.

You will travel up to 75% to install, support, and upgrade systems, acting as the primary contact and liaising with sales and engineering teams to relay feedback and identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Security clearance eligibility may be required.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience with device control interfaces and related protocols.
• Knowledge of Python and JavaScript.
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving.
• Familiar with Unix/Linux command line, Bash scripting, and distributed systems.
• Experience with databases and virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites for installation, maintenance, and upgrades of hardware and software.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support for successful deployment and operation of products.
• Serve as the primary customer contact, addressing concerns with professionalism and technical insight.
• Act as liaison between customers and internal teams (sales and engineers) for feedback and opportunities.
• Document service activities, system performance, and customer feedback clearly and promptly.
• Assist with technical training and onboarding for customers as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
