Job summary

CRFS, a Motorola Solutions business unit, seeks a Field Applications Engineer to act as the technical bridge between CRFS engineering and a diverse customer base, delivering expert-level support, hands-on training, and troubleshooting for complex RF systems.

You’ll deploy to customer sites for field integration, configure equipment, develop test plans, prepare reports, and assist the Sales team with demonstrations and technical guidance to advance opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active US service member with DoD SkillBridge eligibility.
• Experience with RF systems and field troubleshooting.
• ESD-controlled environment experience.
• Solid TCP/IP and networking fundamentals.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support remotely and on-site for CRFS RF systems.
• Deliver comprehensive technical training to end users and field personnel.
• Perform diagnostics and high-level repairs in office and field settings.
• Deploy to customer locations for field integration and support installation of CRFS equipment.
• Develop test plans and summary project reports to support field activities.
• Assist Sales with system demonstrations and technical guidance to advance opportunities.
• Manage demonstration equipment and inventory to ensure calibration and readiness.
• Relay customer feedback and feature requests to internal teams to drive product improvement.
